Rockin P Whitetails (tx#2057) is owned by Blake Powell and is located in Jacksonville, Tx. We established our breeding program in 2003 with one goal in mind, to produce top quality whitetail deer!

Basing our herd on bloodlines from Oscar Jr., Athens (Dr. Jacobson), Muy Grande, Shorty, Billy's 200, 30-30, and Tuffy. We feel we are off to a great start and are very excited about the opportunities we are creating. With A.I. Sires like Rold Gold, Stormy, Elvis, Dreamcatcher and Silver Storm added to the equation on top of our strong base line of females, there is no question that our offspring have outstanding potential!

Here at Rockin P there is no sitting back and watching. We make certain that all our animals receive excellent care and attention. Herd health is very important and staying on top of the game is a major priority. Rockin P makes sure our deer receive the very best nutrition and vaccines available. This ensures that each animal can perform to its fullest potential.

The integrity of our breeding program is very important so we utilize DNA testing with DNA Solutions in Oklahoma. Our testing allows us to ensure each customer receives exactly what he is purchasing. Accurate DNA and detailed record keeping also enables us to extensively study our pedigrees and make informative breeding decisions to make the best match possible to each doe. We find these steps necessary since we consider the doe to be just important within the breeding equation.

We are very excited about the genetics within our herd. Some of our outstanding performers include Shorty, Elvis, Stormy, and Dream Catcher,to just name a few.

Shorty is of the Oscar Jr. bloodline. He scores over 250 B&C as a 4 year old. Shorty has great mass, tine length, number of tines, and several kickers.

Elvis scores 310 B&C at 3 years old. Grandson to BJ (full brother to buck), son to BJ Jr. Elvis has a 26" inside spread, 41" outside. He has over 60" of mass and numerous tines along with several drop tines.

Stormy scores over 300 B&C at 6 years old. He has tremendous mass, numerous long tines, along with several drop-tines and kickers, he is every bit of 300 B&C.

Dream Catcher scored over 240 B&C at 3 years old. He is a Dreamer son that has a lot to offer - Brow tines, spread, points, beam length and drop-tines.
